We take safety very seriously and to be recognised for all the effort, training and following of rigorous procedures is very rewarding.

Cedars Hall is being created through the generosity of individuals, families, charitable trusts and foundations, including Arts Council England, throughout the UK; and the Wells Cathedral School Foundation continues its fundraising appeal to make Cedars Hall happen.
Mark Coote, CEO of the Wells Cathedral School Foundation
This facility is vital for Wells Cathedral to maintain its status as a world class music school. At present our symphony orchestra rehearses in the 15th century theological library which is beautiful, but acoustically inappropriate – and not nearly big enough. We hope Cedars Hall becomes an important musical venue in the South West and will enable us to expand our music outreach programme. We believe music should be all-inclusive and Cedars Hall helps us reach more people including those talented children who need our support and guidance.
Elizabeth Cairncross, Head of Wells Cathedral School
I will endeavour to continue making a positive difference through my various roles and the invaluable support provided by Shaylor Group.
Shaylor Group Framework Director Martin Chambers

Stephen Shaylor, CEO of Shaylor Group
'It has been a truly magnificent fundraising effort by all the team at Shaylor Group, more than doubling their initial target. The amount raised will help them to support people with bowel cancer and their families and to raise awareness of the disease, its symptoms and the need for early diagnosis.
Theo Coyne, Beating Bowel Cancer
To have won our first ever CMYA medal is testament to both Paul’s vision and managerial skills and our professionalism as a company to have been able to support him with his planning and execution.
Shaylor Group CEO Stephen Shaylor
Winning the Silver medal has been a fantastic experience. Not only was The Belfry project one of the best I have worked on in my career, winning the award made all the effort (not only from myself but from the whole team) worthwhile. One of the main benefits of getting into the finals was gaining CiOB member status which in turn has allowed me to develop my career further by attending seminars, accessing their CPD portal and networking with other members.
Silver Medal Winner Paul Fairholm

A big factor in this project securing the grant is the support of the local community. This building will tell Newquay’s story in different ways and everyone will be able to come and sample that story
Nerys Watts, South West Head of the Heritage Lottery Fund
This is a part of Cornwall that you don’t see in Newquay except here, so hopefully in 100 years’ time our great- grandchildren will be enjoying these great cottages.

With the construction industry forming such an important part of our G.D.P, Sir Mervyn wanted to hear exactly how the recession has affected not only the construction industry here in the West Midlands from an ‘on the ground’ perspective, but also the actual day to day impact on medium sized family run businesses like ourselves.
Shaylor Group CEO Stephen Shaylor
