I am pleased that we have been able to acquire another good building right in Västerås. On the site, we now plan to build around 125 apartments in our Lateral Low-Rise building concept, starting in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The acquisition of Finja Prefab is a key part of K-Fastigheter’s continued growth journey and our strategy of producing cost-efficient concept buildings developed in-house in Sweden and Denmark.
To summarize, as in previous periods, we have maintained a high pace with a lot of activity.
In 2020, K-Fastigheter has established operations in four municipalities, in a geographically combined area southwest of Copenhagen
Both buildings were recently renovated, and have low energy consumption due to new roofs, façades and windows.
The plot that K-Fastigheter will build on is a key property in the area, with proximity to services, nature, schools, shopping and communications.
With today’s agreement, K-Fastigheter will have a clear presence in Västerås and Mälardalen, a region that is an important part of our continued growth
K-Fastigheter plans to build 140–150 homes in our Low-rise and Apartment Block buildings
With today’s agreement, K-Fastigheter will have the opportunity to build all of the Group’s three concept buildings with a gross total area (GTA) of a total of approximately 55,000 square meters.
In the second quarter of 2020, K-Fastigheter presented its strongest quarterly profit on record. New construction of HOMES in the first half of 2020 equaled 102 percent of all new construction starts for the full year 2019.

This is our second transaction in Denmark, this time in Høje-Taastrup about 20 kilometres west of Copenhagen
The houses have the address Maltgatan 17-19 and make a good addition to our existing property portfolio with 500 apartments, of which 144 are in ongoing production, in Hässleholm
At the end of April we announced our plans to build four Apartment Blocks with a total of 88 apartments in the Strömsbro district and with today’s agreement for an additional 60 apartments in nearby Sätra, we will get a good property portfolio in Gävle.
Our first deals should be considered as the first block in a larger strategic collaboration
It is very gratifying that we are now getting started with the Sävenäs 131:13 project, K-Fastigheter’s largest individual project to date.
We plan to start working on building permit documents immediately and provisionally expect 48 homes.
The property forms part of the municipality’s general plan and we will have access to an area that will be very attractive with good access to both nature and major roads.
I see this as a first step in a long-term investment in Denmark, focusing on Greater Copenhagen
This is our first project in Borås and it gives us good opportunities to develop a good residential area where we can build houses according to K-Fastigheter's three proprietary concept houses
Växjö is a city with strong population growth and the acquisition of the Taket 2 property represents part of our strategy to be present in growth regions and to work focusing on sustainability.
Today’s acquisition will allow us to construct additional high-quality rental apartments in the attractive Folkparken neighbourhood
